Capital came in near the midpoint of the 6 bids I got but it wasn't the price that sold me - it was the care they put into their bid and the feeling I got from Jeff and, later, his son Danny. They included more

detail than any of the other companies I considered and I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with Jeff where he answered all of my questions and explained all of my options.

Jeff struck me right from the start as an earnest, straight-up guy who was giving me his best offer. No posturing, no pressure, just a good offer and a good feeling. Once work got underway the crew did their work, cleaned up every day, and kept the materials organized. Couldn't ask for more.

Jeff and Danny came out several times during the project and we spoke by phone regularly. Calls were usually returned the same day and always by the next day. Changes (like my decision to add gutter covers) were handled clearly and easily and there were no financial surprises at all. They did an excellent job.

If I could do it again, would I choose Capital? Wellllll...yes. In fact, I did! In August of 2023, while I was out of town with my family, our house got walloped by the big hail storm that rolled through Minneapolis. By the time we got home a week later, work had already started on 4 houses on my block.

My first call was to Capital and they came out a day later. My beautiful roof and old siding had taken major damage. Once I finally got things sorted out with insurance Oscar, Capital got going. They did another beautiful job on the roof and the siding is just fantastic with lots of hand-bent aluminum work to mimic the architectural detail my insurance wouldn't cover.

I think it looks better than it did originally. Total satisfaction with two excellent jobs six years apart is no fluke. Capital is as solid as they come and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
